This program provides a dedicated resident intern in psychology to East Side Charter, West Center City Early Learning Center, and to the Latin American Community Center to help identify students’ problems and suggest approaches to the staff and teachers at these centers in dealing with the children and the myriad of other issues encountered in their environments. Resident Interns have also helped these centers by producing and distributing a manual on certain common problems and their suggested solutions that can be used by the teachers and staff and given to parents in a hand-out format as each problem is addressed.
